Show&Tell at The Common is our monthly open mic series where we present a grown up version of the childhood classic. Participants from all walks of life are invited to bring an object they hold dear and put their name in a hat for a chance to take the stage and share the story behind it. Stories move beyond the objects to the emotional ties they represent: a ring passed down by a dying father, a prayer box from an immigrant grandfather, a toy that inspired a future astronaut.  Your object can be old or new. It can be the star of your story, a quirky sidekick, or just makes a brief cameo—The only rule? It matters to you!

Bring your curiosity, generosity—and judging skills. Everyone gets to vote on the most compelling story. The winner walks away with bragging rights, a cash prize, and a spot in the annual Show&Tell Showdown.
